Earlier this week, I worked at South Louisiana Bank in Houma, Louisiana, deep in the heart of Cajun territory. (Further South than New Orleans!) One Cajun phrase or exclamation you’ve probably heard is, “Ayeee!”, which for you Yankee and foreigners is simply shout for joy, like, “Yippee!”, only in Cajun terms.

This bank has adopted that phrase as their “slogan”, if you will, and even their web site address, http://www.ayeee.com/, reflects it. So, imagine the grin on my face when I snapped this photograph:
