Why so long between blog posts?
A college buddy of mine asked me via e-mail, “Why so long between blogs?”
I can only assume he meant posts, but I got the drift.
Well, the main reason is time. I’m actively producing two podcasts, editing two others, volunteering at my church, add to that that I’m doing some freelance blog and podcasting work all while holding down a job that routinely requires that I work 10-12 hours days and spend 50% of my week staying in motel rooms.
Add to that that I first took down this blog because I hope to launch a podcast consultancy business in the coming year and I didn’t want my conservative/libertarian politics putting off possible clients. Obviously, I’ve resurrected the blog, but you might notice most all the political and religious stuff is gone.
I plan on blogging here more often, in fact, I was considering today whether or not to add a podcas; a sort of a “stream of consciousness” podcast where I’m not concerned with theme music or the number of subscribers or monetizing it, a podcast where one of my cats, Samantha, can start “talking” to me whilst I record and it doesn’t bother me. A podcast where I can say whatever is on my mind (within reason) as a way to “send questions out to the void.”
Maybe.
