I've been looking at WordCamp Dallas (about 8000 miles and a continent away) through Jim P. 's video podcasts: congratulations, a great show and can imagine the work that went on behind it!. These things are astonishing: Though I'd prefer too have been with the 100 % of you, and would have been in the 64% male, 30.25% Large and 93% Both Days - I appreciate that so much of it, all darn useful, is available here on the 'net. Great going!

Yay, as a small t-shirt wearing female, I am part of 1.81% of the total population of WordCamp. (7.24% of the 25% female group).

Thanks for organizing this, Charles. I was worried that it would not be worth it for me as a marketer. As a less technical blogger, I learned a lot. I did just upgrade to 2.5 and am excited at the prospects. I have yet to set up Woopra yet, but getting traffic to my personal blog should be priority #1 for me ;).

I taped Ma.tt's speech and included the part about Wordpress 2.6 here:

Wow Charles, this post slipped by me. I came across the link to it via Lorelles WordPress Wednesday news post. At any rate, some interesting stats. I'm also glad that it won't be a male only event. I hope that those stats for the shirts don't prove that America really is an obese country :P

By the way, I'm one of the few who is staying all three days, Fri-Sat-Sun :)
