I thought this was interesting and thought I’d share it with everyone. Have you ordered anything online from Domino’s Pizza recently? I did last night, and while I was waiting for my sandwich to be delivered to me, I noticed the status message they display asked me three questions: Which political party I favored, which presidential candidate I favored, and would I be voting in the presidential election this year.
I answered, curious to participate in a poll of pizza delivery customers who also keep current on politics, and was greeted with Domino’s very early, very un-scientific poll results:
Notice that they had, at that point, only garnered 3,669 participants at the time I was hungry and killing time, waiting to eat, but given those participants, they were predicting an Electoral College landslide for Sen. Barrack Obama. Understandably, the Southern states made up most of the states supporting Sen. John McCain, with Arkansas being his stalwart supporters. Also not surprisingly, most of Obama’s support comes from New York, California, and the rest of the Left coast.
I can also tell you that, in an election held today between the four different oven-toasted subs Domino’s offers, the Philly Cheesesteak would win hands down, with the Chicken Bacon Ranch coming in second.
I, of course, being the contrarian, prefer the Chicken Parmesan with my John McCain. And what’s with Texas and Massachusetts? Fraud! Fraud! I demand every vote be counted! Where are the hand-ballots?!
